Ways To Treat Sciatica By Yourself

Sciatica is described as some level of pain which can move from lower back all to the calf. It occurs due to pressure that is placed on sciatic nerve due to spinal issue.
1. Place a cold pack on the lower back even if the pain is in the buttocks or leg as it will help to alleviate inflammation. Apply cold pack only for 15 minutes at least 3-4 times a day at a time anywhere.
2. Take any anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen which will help to decrease the inflammation on the sciatic nerve.
3. Stretch the lower back which can help to alleviate the compression on the sciatic nerve. This will also help to reduce the pain of sciatica.
4. Walking can really help the lower back and will also help in recovering from the sciatica problem.
5. Do regular exercise to strengthen the lower back. You can find out few machines in the gym which will provide help for the sciatica problem.
