Relationship will have a constant fluctuation of dominance between the partners. Compromise can play a good part of a healthy relationship, but it can sometimes make you feel like giving in. Here are few steps to control a relationship.

1. Try to stop whining like constant complaints to your partner. Try to forget the whining as no partner will like to hear any complaints.

2. Always discuss the matter clearly and try to be direct. Dominance needs to have a well-articulated goal. Try to use straight posture if you are addressing the issue and also use a serious tone.

3. In case your partner has been involving in a behavior that violates the boundaries, let him know. Make sure your partner knows what you will tolerate and what you won’t.
