Time Of An Abnormal Menstrual Cycle



There are no standard length of a menstrual cycle and the periods can run anywhere from 21 to 35 days.

1. The length of the woman’s periods can also vary month to month similar to the length and amount of flow in the menstruation. Women may also bleed anywhere from 2-8 days.

2. Girls with cycle between 11 to 14 year of age the, length of cycle can vary which is very common and it can last up to 45 days. It can be slow in older teens and women from 39 to 51 will start having longer periods.

3. There can be a variation in the menstrual cycle such as high stress, extremely low or high body weight, ovarian problems, thyroid gland problems, pregnancy, endometriosis, cancer and hormone imbalances.
