6. The signs of a premature menopause from uterine artery embolization include hysterectomy that is similar to a regular menopause. Other signs also include insomnia, hot flashes, mood swings and decreased sex drive. The most important difference of premature menopause is the symptoms will be have more severity as the hormones decrease gradually during a natural menopause and there will be a rapid decrease in induced premature menopause.
