Details About Incisional Hernia

An incisional hernia forms at scar site of the abdominal surgery. The abdominal wall will not heal and will leave a gap in the wall after the surgery. The gap will allow the part of intestinal tract to push in the subcutaneous layers of abdomen.

2. There are few types of incisional hernia are reducible Hernia which is viewed as incomplete hernia as it can be noticed only standing, incarcerated Hernia which does not disappear as the organ is attached in the muscle wall across the abdomen and strangulated Hernia in which the neck of hernia can stop the supply of the blood organs and cause tissue death and gangrene.
