Controlling Diabetes, Hypertension and Cholesterol


Life style diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol levels, increasing rate oh heart attacks, etc, are fast catching up in India. There are many causes few of which include Genetically adopting the disease, sedentary life styles, stress, etc. Though it is difficult to completely cure these diseases, certain every day health regimes can surely help preventing them. Also once such diseases are deducted they are bound to invite other major diseases like Diabetics always have a high risk of suffering a Heart Attack. Therefore controlling them at the right time and more so even before they hit any one of you, seems the best course of action.

For controlling diabetes once should eat food which is less in glycemic acid. These include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, lean proteins, etc. Diabetics are also advised to have little food every now and then which reduces the calorie level in the blood. For controlling Blood Pressure related diseases one should exercise regularly. Brisk walks, Climbing stairs, Yoga, etc can go a long way in controlling Blood pressure. High levels of Cholesterol in the blood, Cholesterol blocks blood vessels in the brain and the heart. To reduce Cholesterol one should exercise, have less of oily food, have a healthy diet and take proper medication as directed by the physician.
