Rotavirus mainly affects children before they reach the age of 5. The usual signs of this disease are fever, severe diarrhea, vomiting and dehydration. Here are few ways to avoid a rotavirus disease.
1. Wash the hands without fail before and after changing diapers of your child as a rotavirus disease can easily spread through contamination with feces.
2. Consult a doctor about taking an oral rotavirus vaccine as it has been made to prevent a rotavirus. First ask him to check whether the child is suitable for this medication.
3. Wipe all the places such as changing tables and potty chairs with disinfectants to avoid this disease.
4. Change the baby’s diaper immediately after a bowel movement as taking more time to clean the baby may spread the rotavirus.
