Important Qualifications For A Babysitter

Selecting a babysitter can be a very stressful thing for the parents. A babysitter must have certain qualifications which must be considered by the parents and other family members.

1. Most of the babysitters will have a formal training in child care. Few babysitters will also take college classes and teenage babysitters would have also attended the American Red Cross.

2. A qualified babysitter must be certified in infant and adult CPR. They must have taken a standard CPR course or specialized CPR course for babysitters that are available in local hospitals.

3. A babysitter who is qualified must have certain personality traits like maturity, friendliness and playful attitude. A good babysitter must be comfortable in dealing with the children and feel at ease.
